Get LAMDA-Ready
Bronze - Gold
August 2026
Tunbridge Wells
We know the academic year can be hectic.
That’s why our LAMDA course offers young actors the chance to develop their skills in a fun, supportive environment that’s free from term-time pressures.
Join us, and other like-minded young actors, to experience a straightforward yet effective course that prioritises your success and gets you the grade you deserve.
What’s Included?
-
Before the summer school begins, you will each receive an online private session, where the tutor will get to know your acting style and any special requirements. (45 mins)
-
Your tutor will select speeches based on your preferences, casting and acting style. Speeches will be provided ahead of the summer school, so the student can feel prepared and confident going into the week.
-
With a mix of group workshops and one-to-one coaching, by the end of the course you will have curated polished performances with our professional guidance; you will know your LAMDA theory, having been introduced to key principles and practitioners in a practical way, and you will have made new friends. At the end of the course, we will book your autumn LAMDA exam at a public centre, on a date of your choosing.
-
You will receive a learning booklet, to help you prep for the Knowledge section of your exam. While we will be exploring theory in a practical way during the course, the booklet, curated by our course director, acts as a written guide that breaks down the key principles you will need to know.
Your tutors will also make individual notes for you, collated into a notebook. This will include things like a To Do List of what you need to work on, and any personalised performance notes. -
3 one-hour sessions, arranged at a convenient time, to consolidate everything covered during the summer school. Two take place online, and one in person at the tutor’s home. Please note that this may not be with the same tutor who introduced the speeches, as a fresh perspective can often be beneficial.
